December 23, 1933 - March 3, 2016
With family by his side, Walter Glowinski passed away at the age of 82. Walter is survived by his wife, Helen, of 54 years and loving family. He was very supportive and proud of his daughters, Judy and Kathie, son Mike and daughter-in-law, Samantha. He enjoyed the talents of his four grandchildren Rachel Anne, Lainee, Maddy and Zoey. Walter was a foreman at Consolidated Bathurst in Hamilton. He completed his career at Top Tape and Label in Ancaster. He loved going to the horse races and the casino with his wife. Walter was also an avid sports fan. He loved the Tiger Cats and was a season ticket holder. He watched every Maple Leaf game with guarded optimism, but found it much easier to cheer on the Yankees and Patriots. The family will receive friends at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home - ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson St. E., Ancaster, Ont., on Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday at 4 p.m. An Interment Service is to be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre Foundation.
