<div itemprop="description">MATHIOUDAKIS, Nicolas (Nick) - In his 89th year, it is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of a loving husband of 57 years to Ergina, beloved father to Helen Demczuk (Michael) and John (Rita). Adoring “Papou” to Gina, Anita (Sean), Ryan and Michael. Dear brother to the late Maria (the late Manousos), the late Anna, George (Niki), the late Helen (the late Spiros), the late Petros (the late Soula), Irene (George), Frank (the late Elizabeth), and Margarita (Dimitri). Brother- in- law to Sophia & Constantinos Papayannopoulos, in Hamilton as well as Koula & Kyriakos Vamvounis and numerous brother and sister-in-laws in Greece. In addition, Nick has over 75 nieces and nephews in Canada and throughout the world. A devoted founder and supporter of Panagia Greek-Canadian Orthodox Church here in Hamilton for over 40 years. Nick was well known throughout the Hamilton/Burlington area as Nick and Gina worked alongside each other with their restaurants; which included Ginie’s Coffee Shop, Century 21, Upper Canada Place and culminating with the Burlington City Hall cafeteria. Nick had an unwavering belief in his church and his family and will be greatly missed by all. The family will receive friends at DODSWORTH AND BROWN Funeral Home ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson St. East, Ancaster on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 4-9 p.m. Service on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 10 a.m. at PANAGIA GREEK-CANADIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH, 233 East 15th Street (at Brucedale Ave) in Hamilton. Burial to follow at Mt. Hamilton Cemetery. In his memory, in lieu of flowers you may honour Nick by making a donation to Panagia Greek-Canadian Orthodox Church in Hamilton. <br><br></div>
