<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts and extreme sadness we announce Mark’s sudden passing on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the Hamilton General Hospital at the young age of 58. Mark leaves behind his wife of 32 years and best friend of 40, Donna Ellis. Elyse (Jordan) and Brian (Shelle) will always remember their dad for his love of nature and music, and his unique ability to teach them useless facts; above all he was a loving father. Mark was the little brother to Martha (Tim), Brian (1989), Lilly (Doug), Lorraine and Lynn (Joe). Son-in-law to Charlie and Bev Waller and brother-in-law to Dennis and Cheryll. Mark was a devoted member of Scouts Canada for 50 years, most recently with the First Mount Hope Scout Troop and has developed many close friendships through those years. He was also a member of Hamilton Harbourtown Sound, where he lived out his love of singing as well as the International Guild of Knot Tyers. He was also a dedicated member of Christ Church Woodburn. Mark’s family wishes to invite those who knew him to a Celebration of Life at St. John’s Anglican Church, 272 Wilson Street E. Ancaster on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 2:00 pm. According to his wishes, Mark donated his full body to the University of Guelph to teach health care professionals and first responders. If desired, donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Christ Church Woodburn, Scouts Canada "First Mount Hope Scout Troop- London Office" or to Harmonized for Speech Fund.
