Peacefully at Willowgrove LTC, with his son by his side, on March 26, 2015 in his 86th year. Finally reunited with the love of his life Pip (July 2007). Loving father of Jill and Ian (Debra). Proud Pa of Lily. Predeceased by his brother Tony (2014) and survived by sisters Betty, Kitty, Alice and Pat. Dad was a remarkable man. His quirky sense of humour and zest for life will be remembered by all who knew him, especially those who shared Scotch and chocolate with him. Dad’s professional accomplishments were many. He was VP of Ennis - Paikin Steel for many years. Dad was a past president of the Hamilton Halton Construction Association and was inducted into the HHCA Hall of Fame in 2005. He was also a past president of the Reinforcing Steel Institutes of Ontario and Canada, and a director of the Canadian Construction Association. He was heavily involved in shaping Ancaster’s political and community landscape for several decades and a founding member of the Ancaster Figure Skating Club. Dad was a dedicated and valued parishioner at St. John’s Anglican Church in Ancaster.

“We will not see his like again”
