<div itemprop="description">Born March 18, 1927 passed peacefully at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice in Hamilton on November 6, 2015, at the age of 88. Beloved husband to Winona Jean (nee McDonald) for 55 years. Cherished father to Bob (Lynda), Linda (Warren), Arla Dale, Gordon, Vernon (Shirley) and Brian (Denise). Loved grandfather to twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Brother to Grace Weylie (Everett). Fred was predeceased by his first wife Lois Jean Dorr (Workman) in 1956, by his parents Janet and Erland Dorr, and by his sister Mabel Riddell (Jack) in 1977. Fred was a life member of the Seymour Lodge #272, A.F. &amp; A.M., GRC, Master 1970 and 1st Principal of Ancaster Chapter #155 R.A.M. in 1976. Fred farmed in Glanbrook Township for many years and later worked for the Ministry of Transportation retiring in 1991. Special thanks to granddaughters Amy Salter and Laura Goodbrand for their expert and compassionate nursing care, and also to Linda for organizing our great care through CCAC. Fred and family are extremely grateful to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for all of their fabulous TLC, to Dr David Smosarski for his care and support, and to Jackie (Paramed). Friends may visit for a Memorial and Masonic Service at HARMONY BAPTIST CHURCH 1763 Upper James St., Hamilton on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. Cremation has already taken place. A private family interment will be held later. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice or Harmony Baptist Church.</div>
