<div itemprop="description">On July 24th, 2016 Denise surrendered her soul to Jesus and entered eternal life. Predeceased by the father of her children, Peter. She leaves behind her devoted children Kathleen and her husband Terry Sill, Annie Smith and Richard Horbatuk. She also leaves behind her loving grandsons, Corey and Colin Sill, and Ryan Smith. Predeceased by her brother Betrand Lacroix (Céline Gosselin) and her sister Réjeanne Lacroix (Betrand Benoit). She is survived by her sisters Suzanne Lacroix (Emerille Grégoire) and Lorraine Lacroix. Fondly remembered by the Horbatuk family, many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Special thank you to the staff at St. Joseph’s Villa, Dundas, Birch Trail for their excellent care towards Denise and to Fr. Mike for his spiritual comfort during her stay at the Villa. The family will receive friends at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson St. E., Ancaster, Ont. on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at ST. ANN’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH 11 Wilson St. W., (Fiddlers Green Rd.), Ancaster on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 10 a.m. With interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Ancaster. In Lieu of flowers and in memory of Denise, donations to the St. Joseph’s Villa Foundation or to the Alzheimer’s Society-Hamilton Chapter would be appreciated by the family.
