<div itemprop="description">Peacefully on December 16, 2016 in her 96th year, Catherine passed away at The Meadows Long Term Care Home with her family by her side.<br>Loving mother of Barbara Fitzsimmons of Owen Sound, Dr. Rolph King (Michelle Tew) of Ancaster, David King, (Loraine Bate-Baerop) of Toronto. Dear stepmother of Coral Young (Keith) of Sarnia and David Perkins (Danni) of Canmore Alberta. Proud grandmother of David Fitzsimmons (Amy), Matthew Fitzsimmons (Kristen), Devon (Elizabeth), Ashley (James) and Kendra King, Hayley and Lauren King, Ryan Young and Joshua Young , Tessa and Ethan Perkins as well as nine great-grandchildren. Catherine was predeceased by her beloved husband Max G. Perkins (1999) and Harvey H. King (1974), her brother Robert Beckner (1998) and her sister Gertrude Blooming (1997). Dear sister-in-law of George and Dorothy (2015) King of Windsor, Betty King (2016) and Rosemary Stickles of Leamington. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Cathie was a former elder and long time member of Emanuel United Church and Emanuel UCW in Windsor and active in the community as an IODE member for 55 years until her move to Ancaster in 2001 where she joined Ryerson United Church. Special thank you to the wonderful staff at The Meadows Long Term Care Home. Friends and family are invited to a visitation at DODSWORTH AND BROWN FUNERAL HOME- ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson Street E. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Morris Sutton Funeral Home in Windsor in the spring. If desired, donation may be made to the Juravinski Cancer Center, Hamilton, Ryerson United Church-Ancaster, Emmanuel United Church Memorial Fund-Windsor, or a charity of your choice. <br></div>
