<div itemprop="description">Passed away in her 90th year on January 1,2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a valiant struggle with Kidney Disease. Gladys was born on May 22, 1926, the youngest child of Frank and Annie.<br />She was predeceased by her husband George of 69 years, her brothers Frank and Bill, and sisters Mary and Betty. Also predeceased by her loving son-in-law Ron Lombardo. Gladys had been surrounded until the end by the love and care of her children Susan (Larry), Margaret (Ron), George (Lynn), Debbie (Joe), and Tim (Angie). She also leaves 14 loving grandchildren and 20 beautiful great grandchildren. Gladys was a lady of quiet strength and courage. Even in the most difficult of times she never gave up. Her children are her love and pride and she has left them a legacy to be proud of. Family and friends will be received at the DODSWORTH &amp; BROWN FUNERAL HOME &ndash; ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson Street East, on Monday January 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday January 5th, followed by interment at White Chapel Memporial Gardens, 1895 Main Street West, Hamilton. The family wish to extend their gratitude to St. Josephs Peritoneal Unit, Stoney Creek and the 7th Floor Nephrology Unit and the Bayshore P.D. nurses for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Hospital Dialysis Department, the Children's Wish Foundation, or a charity of your choice. <br /><br /></div>
