It is very rare to come across a man who leaves such a lasting impression on everyone he encounters. It is with unbelievable shock and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of an exceptionally loving, caring and extraordinary man, on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Hamilton General Hospital. Beloved husband, soul mate and best friend of 39 years to Linda (nee Howell). Loving, devoted and proud father to Morgan (Amanda), Liam (Marta), Ryan, Courtney, Samantha and Ethan. Frank was adored and will be deeply missed by his parents, Andries and Maria; tanta Gerda Wolfe; brothers, Robert, Michael (Lori) and Bruno (Julie); sister, Maureen; mother-in-law Fredda Howell; sisters-in-law, Sandy Watson and PJ Hull (Peter); many nieces, nephews, close friends and colleagues. All will remember Frank for his zealous attitude, selfless nature and absolute devotion to his family. Not surprisingly, his final words were an expression of love for his wife and 6 children. He will be forever in our hearts. Visitation at DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson St. E, ANCASTER, on Sunday, March 9, and Monday, March 10, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Vigil Prayers Monday evening at 8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Parish, 260 Herkimer Street, Hamilton, on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 11 am. With Cremation to follow. Online condolences available at www.dbancaster.ca

“Words can never fully express the impact of losing a hero. Frank was our hero. ”
