It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Annie at the age of 73, at the Juravinski Hospital on September 1, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Frank Kozlar (1989), and dear mother of Marianne and her husband Milan Sobocan and Francine and her husband Trent Calver. Loving grandmother (Grams) to granddaughters Mikki and her husband Dan Rocha and Justine Sobocan. Proud Great Grandmother (GiGi) to Luca Rocha. Adored by her brothers John Antolin and the late Emil Antolin (1999). She will be sadly missed by many of her cousins and friends, especially her dear friend Sheri. Annie was an employee of the Hamilton Public Library for over 30 years until her retirement. During her retirement years, she was an avid gardener who truly loved her roses and was especially proud of her vegetable and rock gardens. The family would like to thank Dr. Wasi and nurse Shannon, at the Juravinski Cancer Centre, for their wonderful care and support over the last year and a half. Thank you also to all the nurses and doctors at the Juravinski Hospital, located on C4, for their exceptional care and support. Visitation will be at Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home, 378 Wilson Street East, Ancaster on Monday, September 7 from 1-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass at St Ann’s Church, 11 Wilson Street West, Ancaster on Tuesday, September 8 at 11am with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Garner Road West, Ancaster. As an alternative to flowers, donations toward a dedication in memory of Annie to the Royal Botanical Gardens (905-527-1158) Or www.rbg.ca/donateonline would be greatly appreciated.
